The book treats cyberspace as a strategic domain in its own right and proposes the theoretical foundations of a cyberstrategy conceived from Africa: what power, deterrence, territory and vital interest mean there, and how an African state can formulate a doctrine of its own.

Co-written with Prof. José Do Nascimento
Written with a specialist in public international law, the book asks whether colonisation has an exact equivalent in African cyberspace. The authors take its political, economic, cultural and geopolitical dimensions and test them against the measurable reality of infrastructure, data and standards.
